Black Ops 2 recieving DLC is inevitable, we all know it’s going to happen whether it be sooner or later. However it could be sooner. According to reports, images confirming the ‘Revolution’ DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 appeared briefly on the game’s official site.
A ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Revolution’ surfaced seemingly prematurely on the game’s mobile site, teasing a reveal trailer before being swiftly withdrawn, according to MP1st.
A banner advertising the same content has also surfaced. Images of these banners have been captured across the internet
The ‘Revolution’ DLC – the first for Black Ops 2 – was first outed when a leaked promo poster was allegedly spotted at a GameStop store last week, January 2. An official announcement has yet to be made by Activision.
According to the poster, the content pack will contain four new multiplayer maps: Hyrdo, Grind, Downhill and Mirage, along with a Zombies map called ‘Rise’ and the new Peacekeeper SMG, with a release date of January 27th being reported.
Although it is highly likely that this DLC well and truly is going to be released very soon, take this news with a pinch of salt and be prepared to wait because it’s highly unlikely that a DLC pack is released without at least a few months notice to build some hype and allow people to find out about it. However it could be true and we could be seeing some DLC for Black Ops 2 at the end of this month, this is Call of Duty after all. It doesn’t really need months of hype to be built because fans are always excited and hunting for the smallest drops of information on new DLC and all things concerning Black Ops, but really only time will tell us the real answer.
Do you guys think the ‘Revolution’ DLC is going to be released this month? Or is it just another silly rumor? Let us know in the comments.
