Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham, will take Batman out of his comfort zone and into the stars.
The popular Lego Batman franchise is getting another installment as announced by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Traveller’s Tales games. Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham will be released in Autumn 2014 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and PC.
Adding to the Lego game franchise which has sold over 100 million units worldwide. Tom Stone, Managing Director of TT Games was happy to talk about the new installment:
Building on the incredibly successful LEGO Batman franchise, we are working to make LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham the ultimate super hero video game this year for all ages. The TT Games team is bringing LEGO Batman and an astounding amount of characters from the DC Comics universe to the next frontier with a new epic story, more gadgets and unexpected challenges.
In the new installment the Dark Knight expands to the stars to stop the evil Brainiac from destroying and Earth and spreading evil across the galaxy. With the power of the Lantern rings, Earth becomes tiny and added to Brainiac’s twisted collection, with only the greatest super heroes around the world to stop him.
Gamers will be able to play and unlock over 150 different characters from the popular DC universe such as the Justice League to evil villains like Killer Croc and Solomon Grundy. With all the characters come lots of new abilities and gadgets to play around with, while the lantern rings bring changes to the universe no one will expect. Popular locations such as the Hall of Justice and the Watch Tower will be explorable with training modules, races, and new challenges for players of all ages on the Bat Computer.
