Good news for PS Vita owners, the PSN-exclusive PS3 game, Rainbow Moon is headed to the PS Vita on December, 2013. The game’s developer SideQuest Studios confirmed the news.
For those who do not know the game Rainbow Moon is a “Strategy Role-Playing” game, that was released on the PlayStation Store in July of this year. Rainbow Moon received mixed reviews, with many sitting in the 7 to 8 out of the 10 mark.
SideQuest Studios, CEO Marcus Pukropski says:
“All the feedback that we have received for Rainbow Moon during the last few months has been tremendous, and I hope that today’s announcement will make a lot of Vita owners and Rainbow Moon fans happy.”
“The biggest new addition is Cross-Save, meaning that any progress you make on your Vita can be continued on PS3 and vice-versa.”
XP counters in the victory screen can now be skipped, items can be used directly from the quest vendor and left-stick control has been improved reducing the chance of walking in unintended directions while in battle mode.”
The Vita port will have:
- Over 30 new features
- Improvements
- Bug Fixes
And the Vita version will also retain its solid 60 frames-per-second performance, which means little to no loading times.
Rainbow Moon was the second highest selling game on the PlayStation Store during its released month in July. Proud PS Vita owners can expect to play the Vita port when it hits the PlayStation Store on December 3 in the US, and December 4th in Europe.
