Under Defeat HD is right around the corner, and to get everybody fired up, Rising Star Games has released a new trailer for the arcade shooter Under Defeat HD: Deluxe Edition. The trailer features the VKL6.02(A)P Chopper which will be featured in the Deluxe Edition.
Not to confuse anybody, but Under Defeat HD will be coming in two different forms. One is what is called Under Defeat HD. That is available in digital form on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. Under Defeat HD: Deluxe Edition comes with a few more perks, as mentioned above, the VKL6.02(A)P Chopper is one of those perks.
The other extra bonuses include a digital art book, all current DLC, patches for the game, and a soundtrack CD featuring new and old tracks. Old tracks, mean from the Dreamcast edition. This isn’t a perk, but it might be to some people, is that the Under Defeat HD: Deluxe Edition is only available in retail form, and the only way to get the retail copy is from Amazon. It’s not exactly a perk, and heck it might be a bit of detriment to some people, but it’s definitely worth noting that the Deluxe Edition isn’t available digitally and it’s only available via Amazon.
Now, let’s talk a little bit of what exactly is Under Defeat HD, as mentioned above, it was originally a Dreamcast game, but now it’s getting the HD facelift like so many past generation games are getting. Anyway, Under Defeat is a game where players take on the role of a German helicopter pilot and you go ahead and petrol the sky by blowing up enemy aircrafts.
With the upgrade in HD and this generation of consoles, Under Defeat HD features destructive realism, improved artwork, textures, shadowing, and dual stick compatibility. If all this sounds good you can buy it digitally on November 27th for 29.99. If you want the Deluxe Version you can get that via Amazon on November 27th as well, no price as of yet, but you can probably expect it to be at least 10.00 bucks more than the regular version.
