On November 7th Else Music Works and Capcom announced to the world the Dragon’s Dogma Original Soundtrack, featuring the original music score for the Capcom’s RPG Dragon’s Dogma. Composed by Tadayosih Makino (Monster Hunter), Inon Zur( Fallout New Vegas, Dragon Age 1&2), Rei Kondoh(Devil May Cry 4, Bayonetta), and Chamy Ishi(Devil May Cry 4), famous renowned composers known for their work with several well-known games. The soundtrack is set to be released November 13th thought digital download and retail outlets.
Creators of well received titles such as Resident Evil 4 and Devil May Cry 4, Dragon’s Dogma features deep combat in a unique adventure. Unfolding in an open world much like Skyrim, with all types of mystical beast such as dragons, Dragon Dogma aims to redefine the Action-RPG genre.
“The original concept for the music of Dragon’s Dogma was music that the listener could physically feel, such as the rush of the winds and the pull of the tides, but I took care to not make each piece too assertive,” stated Tadayoshi Makino, main composer of Dragon’s Dogma. “I thought by using the smaller pieces as accents, I would be able to make the all-important main theme that much memorable. I poured everything I had into expressing the splendor and uniqueness of the Dragon’s Dogma world.
