Earlier this week, Blaze announced that it will be partnering with Funstock to release the Neo Geo X Gold Limited Edition. This bundle comes in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the original Neo Geo console; the AES.
The Limited Edition contains the highly anticipated Neo Geo X hand held with a 4.3 inch screen and stereo speakers. This new console also comes preloaded with 20 classic games from the original AES:

This is all available to any owner of the regular Neo Geo X, but the Limited Edition also comes with a range of accessories to be used with the new system. The Limited Edition will feature an additional gaming card, giving owners access to the 2D fighting game Ninja Master’s. The Limited Edition also contains the Neo Geo X Station for charging the handheld, with a maximum battery life of around four hours. The Station comes equipped both HDMI and Composite cables, allowing games to be played on a TV for a classic experience. In order to enhance the retro feel of the gaming system, the Limited Edition will also feature a Neo Geo X arcade stick that is identical to the original AES stick. This can be used with the Station to give players an authentic arcade gaming experience.
Neo Geo X Gold Limited Edition is available for pre-order in the UK at this link for 175 pounds, with delivery expected to take place in February. Blaze has also organised official distribution in France Spain and Switzerland, with more detail available on the console’s official site.
