Beyond Two Souls Gets a release date and Hollywood star Willem Dafoe will also be in Beyond Two Souls.
We haven’t heard much about Beyond: Two Souls, not since it was announced at last year’s E3 press conference. But, we have more news on the Sony exclusive and it’s pretty big. Quantic Dream, the developers of Heavy Rain, have announced that Beyond: Two Souls will be releasing in North America on October 8th. No word on other territories as of yet, but you can probably bet it’ll be around sometime in October. That isn’t the only other news, though.
Willem Dafoe, who’s been in movies such as, Spider-Man, Shadow of the Vampire, The Boondock Saints, and many others, will be joining the cast of Beyond: Two Souls. Willem Dafoe is the second such big Hollywood star, the first is of course Ellen Page, who is the star of Beyond: Two Souls as Jodie Holmes.
Dafoe will play as Nathan Dawkins, “an enigmatic scientist working for a top-secret government division studying paranormal activity. His professional curiosity in Jodie, driven by personal tragedy, is a central theme in Beyond: Two Souls.

I’m pumped about Beyond: Two Souls. It’s great to see even late in the lifecycle that Sony is still putting out content. Not only content, but content that looks really, really special such as Naughty Dog’s ‘The Last of Us’, which comes out in June, and Beyond: Two Souls.
With Beyond: Two Souls coming out in October, I have to wonder if this will also be a PlayStation 4 launch title as well. The PlayStation 4 is assumed to be coming out in November, and it’d make sense to have Beyond: Two Souls be available for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. We probably won’t know officially until E3.
Let us know in the comments below what you think. Excited about Willem Defoe being in Beyond Two Souls? A bit bummed it’s coming out in October because you wish it was sooner? Me too. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
