Deep Silver, publisher for Saints Row IV, announced today that the ridiculous open-world game has gone gold. Fans are now able to pre-order the season pass for the planned Downloadable content for 9,99 / £ 7.99 at retailers.
The season pass from developer Volition will include two new campaign packs and the exclusive “Rectifier” anal probe weapon that will help receive information from the enemies and save the Earth from the alien invasion. Now, as the President of the United States, players can enjoy the zany game with more options.
In the season pass, the director’s cut of the canceled Saint’s Row III DLC, “Enter the Dominatrix,” a humorous tale that fans of the series will finally be able to enjoy. Also included is a second, to be announced, mission that will be released near the end of 2013.
Season Passes are available to purchase on all platforms, priced at EUR 15 / £ 12. Saint’s Row IV will be released on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC on August 20th in North America and August 23rd around the rest of the world. So far the game looks to be more crazy than the third, if that’s possible.
