The first trailer, for the upcoming Telltale arcade title was released today. Based on Bill Willingham’s popular comic book series FABLES, the game will be shown at PAX Prime in Seattle, Washington from August 30th to September 2nd.
The season première will release later this year on Xbox Live, Playstation Network, and on PC and Mac from the Telltale store on their website. The New York Times bestseller, FABLES is one of the many DC Comic Entertainment’s longest running Vertigo series, and has been running since 2002. The series has won over a dozen Eisner awards and has a rich universe filled with many of the characters of popular fairy tales. Characters such as The Big Bad Wolf AND Pinocchio will make appearances. 
The new game is set before the events witnessed in the first issue of the comic book series. Gamers are put in the role of Bigby Wolf, once known as the Big Bad Wolf, who now a sheriff of one of the many hidden communities in New York City, that have been exiled from the land of Fairy tales. Bigby must maintain order after being tasked by Snow White, to remain unknown in the real world. Players will go to locations such as the “The Three Little Pigs,” and meet colourful characters such as Mr. Toad.
