Players will have the chance to unleash their inner rocker when BandFuse: Rock Legends lands this November.
Developed by Realta Entertainment Group, BandFuse: Rock Legends offers a new take on the gameplay already popularised by previous games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Rather than using any specifically designed peripherals, players use actual musical instruments to play the game. Players can connect any bass, electric and acoustic guitars, as well as microphones to the game, and can even play with up to three of their friends to play co-operatively.
There are a few different bundles available at launch, spanning from $69.99 The Artist Pack, which includes the game and a cable to connect a guitar, to The Guitar Bundle which comes with an actual authentic Fender Squier guitar, meaning that players can start playing along without any prior equipment at all.
Even players who have never played an instrument before in their life can pick up the game and start learning. The game features an animated tabs interface with varying levels of difficulty to ease players in to the instruments, allowing them to slowly build their skills, though if you can’t sing there’s not really much that can be done there! For more advanced players there’s the option to play exactly as the artists do, giving even accomplished players a real challenge. There are even instructional videos from rock legends like Slash and Zakk Wylde to guide you from novice to rock god, and a Career mode that chronicles your meteoric rise from humble pub-singer to megastar.

The game features 55 songs spanning a variety of genres including funk, metal and punk, including Slash, Maroon 5, Coldplay and Pearl Jam. There’s no worry about having to work to unlock your favourite songs either. The entire library of music is available from start-up. Players can also slow down portions of songs to master tricky segments, or can loop their favourite riffs to keep playing throughout the song, giving players entirely new ways to play their favourite tracks. There’s also the opportunity to create your own original content entirely from scratch, or with the help of some backing tracks, to give your inner musical genius the chance to show off.
BandFuse: Rock Legends will be available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on November 19th.
