Ubisoft and NVIDIA Form Gaming Alliance

Ubisoft and NVIDIA Form Gaming Alliance

Ubisoft and NVIDIA join together to offer PC gamers an even better way to enjoy their games.

The merger will enhance the players experience for Ubisoft’s biggest titles, including Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist and the upcoming Assassins Creed IV Black Flag and Watch Dogs.

NVIDIA’s Developer Technology Team is working closely with developers at Ubisoft to make sure each game is visually stunning and the worlds inside add new heights of realism and immersion. One such example is TXAA antialiasing, which will provide Hollywood-levels of smooth animation, soft shadows, horizon-based ambient occlusion and advanced DX11 tessellation.

All those big fancy words add up to one thing; amazing. NVIDIA is known for their visual effects in video games and this new alliance will add a whole new feel and look to games. Games look and feel more like a Hollywood film everyday and this new team will be able to push the graphics to the limit and bring us an even more beautiful world of gaming.

“The PC remains one of the world’s most popular gaming platforms, and we’re committed to offering PC players the best possible experience with our games,” said Geoffroy Sardin, Chief EMEA Marketing and Sales Officer, Ubisoft “Combining NVIDIA’s visual computing expertise and the creativity of our development teams will give customers a stunning experience when choosing an Ubisoft game for the PC.”
