Meanwhile its sequel Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is Amazons best-selling DVD. Finally the fastest selling album is One Directions Midnight Memories. Now before I give you the top 10 best-selling video games on Amazon I first want to mention that the best-selling items are based on pre-order sales and not sales over the years.Back to the lists here is the top 10 best-selling video games on Amazon and yes these are cross-platform.

While it’s not that surprising to see Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 at the top of the list because Modern Warfare 2 was Call of Duty at the height of its popularity, I must admit that seeing Zumba Fitness at number 10 was surprising to say the least, partly because it’s the only game on this list that’s not multiplatform.

Also while Modern Warfare 2 is the number one selling game on Amazon, Grand Theft Auto 5 is the fastest selling game of all time.

The Vice-President of EU retail Xavier Garambois has said that

“The past 15 years have seen Amazon.co.uk broaden its range of products each year, but entertainment products have always played an integral role in our business,”

Along with

“It’s fascinating to look back at our biggest sellers – it gives a wonderful picture of the icons of entertainment culture which have defined the UK since 1998.”
