Angry Birds Star Wars coming to consoles this autumn

There is no force greater in this galaxy than a bunch of angry birds armed with force powers

After a stint on iOS and consoles, Angry Birds Star Wars is set to arrive on all home consoles as well as current gen handhelds from October 29th.

Angry Birds Star Wars is what happens when one of the most popular franchises, in this generation, teams up with one of the more popular sell-outs in the last decade.

Maybe this will start a trend of angry birds tie-ins like say Mario.

Okay that’s not fair but anyway set in a galaxy far, far away the rebel suicidal Angry Birds are struggling against the might of the pig empire.

Their only hope lies with you as you fight the empire across famous Star Wars locations like the planet Tatoonie as well as the Pig Star with the help of force powers, which are upgradable.

You'd think that aftre all these games the pigs would say build better defenses or say make better armour.

This won’t be a simple move to consoles however as Angry Bird Star Wars includes achievements, 20 never-before-played levels and motion controls thanks to the PlayStation Move and Kinect as well as the touch-screen controls on the Nintendo 3DS/Wii U and the PlayStation Vita.

Angry Birds Star Wars also includes a two player co-op mode as well as a competitive mode with up to four players.

Again Angry Birds Star Wars will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii and U/ 3DS as well as the PlayStation Vita from October 29th and is expected to have an ESRB Rating of E for Everyone.
