Show off your unique creations with Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Leaf Image Share Service!
ON THE SAME DAY AS Animal Crossing: New Leaf’s release, the new Nintendo 3DS Image Share Service also became available in Europe. New Leaf Image Share service allows players to share game-play images on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr. Players can take snapshots at almost any moment in the game by pressing the L and R buttons together. To share your screenshot to the world, simply use the Nintendo 3DS Internet browser to upload your images, add captions and post to your social network without having to close your game. Keep in mind that the New Leaf Image Share Service tool cannot be used while online game-play features are in use. With the player’s seemingly limitless power of customization, New Leaf’s Image Share Service is a great way for gamers to quickly show off their unique creations to their friends and family.

The game had sold more than 4 million copies in just over 6 months and Isabelle, the town hall secretary, has more than 193,000 Twitter followers. She is readily available to assist players with the responsibilities of being mayor in their new town. This is a fun and creative idea by the developers to expand player immersion outside of the game.
