Free to play MMO fans rejoice as Allods Online releases an update, Autumn Wind, jam packed with some awesome changes that improve the way this game is played.
Autumn Wind launches on October 30 in North America. This update will bring a new skirmish called Summerhold, the redoing of Goblinball, and a better crafting profession system.
Summerhold makes twelve players team up and man four vehicles, all while trying to stop a countryside destroying gigantic golem. Make sure to have a quick team because the faster you destroy this creature the more medals players will receive. Using the Type 58 ST tank a player can charge in while another player will defend the giants attacks with an IS-7 Heavy. Set up another player in the distance and have them attack with the T92 Arty or speed ahead with the T50-2 Firefly.
The humorous game of Goblinball is back with some refreshing new things. Players of any level can now get on teams of four versus four and try to kick a goblin into the opposing team’s goal. Players can charge at the goblin, kick it or even block the menacing thing. The goblin will glow accordingly to what team has possession while the goalies can send the goblin back to the field. A match is ten minutes long and after players will be rewarded with fragments which can then be used to buy experience or crafting materials.
During the last update to Allods Online, the game combined alchemy and herbalism into a single profession. Blacksmithing will combine with mining while leatherworking and tailoring will make use of dissembling. Crafting has an updated interface, simpler level progression, and even tool upgrades. All these improvements will really enhance the experience for players.
