The latest indie horror adventure game Eleusis coming to consoles this Fall.
Gamers interested in playing the recently first person indie adventure title Eleusis on console will be able to soon thanks to developers Nocturnal Works teaming up with London-based developers Base Games to bring it to consoles this Fall.
This is a pretty big deal for Nocturnal Games because along with being an indie title, Eleusis is also the studio’s first fully developed title.
Eleusis is a 3D first-person adventure game that takes place in what at the time appeared to be an abandoned town in the Greek countryside. You meanwhile come to the village one night looking to seek refuge. Things quickly get weird whoever as your learn that the town is actually the centre of a dark cult. Obviously this leads to you needing to stop the cult because of reasons the story will hopefully explain.
To do this you’re going to need to explore the fully explorable town as well as find items for the games challenging item-based puzzles. The puzzles themselves are on actual history, mythology and technology from ancient Greece.
You’re not save in the village however so you’ll have to be cautious though and use your agility as well as stealth in order to survive but you can use physics-based objects to defend yourself if you really need to.
Ted Bishop the CEO at Base Games has commented that
“We love adventure projects with a slight twist on the horror front. We have huge confidence in Nocturnal Works and Eleusis and are delighted to have secured the retail and digital rights for such a strong product”
