Electronic Arts Incorporated’s studio, DICE, has announced that a new Battlefield 3 expansion pack, Aftermath, is now available for the PlayStation 3 premium members.
“DICE continues to play with Battlefield 3’s multiplayer action in creative ways with its downloadable content releases. Aftermath is shaping up to be the most unique of the bunch by far,” said G4TV.
Cities have been destructed and streets are tore apart giving players a new place to wage war. Three new vehicles will be introduced. Two of which are a troop transport and a civilian vehicle that has been modified to help destroy the enemies.
Aftermath comes with a new game mode called Scavenger mode, where players will try to complete the objective wielding one sidearm as they search the map for more powerful weapons. The expansion also contains a very deadly and silent killing crossbow, more assignment, dog tags, achievements and trophies.
Xbox 360 and PC players with Battlefield 3 Premium will be able to download Aftermath on December 4. For non-premium players the expansion pack will be available on December 11 for PlayStation 3 and December 18 for Xbox 360 and PC.
Players can get all the packs that have been released for £44.99 on PlayStation Network and PC, while the cost will be 4000 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360 users.
Battlefield 3 Premium debuted in June 2012 and has over two million worldwide members. This release will mark the fourth expansion pack out of five. Battlefield 3: End Game will become available in March 2013. Battlefield 3 is EA’s fastest selling game.
