Blizzard Entertainment is planning several huge events worldwide to celebrate the launch of World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria. Starting on the evening of September 24th, major retailers in the US, France, Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain, Sweden, the UK, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and Taiwan will give gamers a chance to be the first to purchase and own the latest expansion to the world’s largest multiplayer online role-playing game.
On 24th September, at 8:00 p.m. BST, the developers of the World of Warcraft team will be in the UK to launch the special event in London at the Café de Paris, on 3-4 Coventry Street, London, W1D 68L. Attendees are in for a thrilling evening full of activities, giveaways, entertainment, and the appearances of special guests before the expansion is available for purchase at 11:00 p.m.
“We can’t wait to meet up with players around the world and celebrate with them at the official launch events,” exclaimed Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “A lot of hard work and long hours went into making Mists of Pandaria a truly epic expansion, so we’re really looking forward to coming together and having some fun with the community before everyone takes off for the new continent.”
Attendees at the Mists of Pandaria events will also get the choice to buy the exclusive Collector’s Edition of World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria. In addition to the game disc, players who purchase the Collector’s Edition also get:
