Boss Baddie and VooFoo’s have announced that upcoming release Big Sky Infinity will launch on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita next week. Big Sky Infinity is fast paced twin stick shooter, which includes several unique attributes. The latest iteration in the Big Sky series has cultivated a partnership between Boss Baddie, VooFoo Studio’s and indie game publishers Ripstone.
Big Sky Infinity includes randomly generated missions and a dynamic game play style that is modified based on a players performance. This ensures that gamers will never play the same game twice.
Gamers will be also be able to take advantage of Sony’s cross buy deal. Those who purchase the game for the PlayStation 3 will receive the PlayStation Vita version free and vice versa. Big Sky Infinity is one of the first 3rd party games to support the cross play initiative.
Big Sky Infinity will be available to buy for £7.99 in the UK, €9.99 in the EU and $9.99 in the US. European PlayStation Plus members will be able to get the game for free for a limited time after its launch.
The game has a number of unique features which include:
- Cloud Synchronisation. Players can continue progress between platforms.
- Compete against friends or world high scores even when not online.
- Touch screen support on Vita, including rear touch for mine detonation.
- 4-player local multiplayer on PS3.
- Turn based multiplayer via Horse mode on Vita. Players can set custom challenges.
- Stereoscopic 3D on PS3.
- Discover near gifts on Vita which can be used for special unlocks.
Big Sky Infinity is available to buy from 11th December in the US and 12th December in the EU. The game can be purchased through the PlayStation Network.
