Bioware Takes Us Back to Mass Effect’s ‘Citadel’

Yesterday Bioware released a trailer to show off its latest DLC for Mass Effect 3 – ‘Citadel.’

screenshot-133-spcitadel-4yAY-pMass Effect 3 – ‘Citadel’ is going to take players back to The Citadel for an interesting side story. Shepard isn’t new to people trying to kill him; however, Shepard is going to be attacked by some new unknown enemies during his stay at The Citadel.

The final single player DLC for Mass Effect 3 is priced at $14.99 on PS3 and PC or 1200 Microsoft Points (£10.28 / €14.40 / $15) on Xbox 360.

This new DLC is sure to:

Take players on an emotional ride with their favorite characters as they explore and discover new locations across the vast, deep-space station in one final send-off for Commander Shepard.

In the DLC Trailer we see all of our favorite characters from the Mass Effect Series, provided that they haven’t been killed. In the beginning of the DLC Trailer Shepard is given private quarters on the Citadel and is promptly found in another tight spot as unknown soldiers raid the bar he is kicking back at.

In a cheesy send off at the end of the trailer we can hear Shepard telling all of his friends to shout “Normandy” as they take a picture. Is this new DLC is a little too heartfelt? We’ll have to see when we play it.

Go ahead and check out the trailer below and tell us what you think in the comments!
