In a world made completely of cardboard cut-outs lives a fearless knight who after spending a while on iOS and Android platforms is now coming to the PS Vita and the latest Sony’s mobiles to save the world and the occasional princess all over again.
In Cardboard Castle you’ll be playing as the already mentioned fearless knight who is a knight who wants to build his reputation by doing heroic deals like defeating evil monsters or saving princesses in a side scrolling cardboard world which looks pretty cool.
In the fearless knights quest to build his reputation you’re obviously going to run into obstacles and since Cardboard Castle is a puzzle game you’re going to have to think your way around them. You’ll have to interact with the game world in order to overcome the games challenges like for instance cutting down a tree to cross a bottomless pit but these will grow into bigger challenges like defeating monsters.
While Cardboard Castle is a port of the iOS and Android versions the game will have some PSM exclusives. The PSM version will have two exclusive stories with ten levels with one about a peasant trying to whoo a princess’s heart even though the king and you won’t allow it.
Cardboard Castle is costs $4.89 and is actually its developers Mando Productions first game and they seem pretty pleased about having their first ever game on PSM and I’ll end this article with this quote from Mando Co-founder Michael Bams
“It is great to see our Cardboard Knight hero now living his adventures on the PlayStation Mobile. Such a greater number of new users means more princesses for him to save!”
