Channel 4 releases NEW 4oD app on PlayStation 3. The title sums it up really doesn’t it? Pretty much it is 4oD on the PS3 so you can catch up shows you have missed like 8 out of 10 cats (I think it is funny but I am not a big fan of Jimmy Carr, Jon Richardson and Sean Lock are brilliant though). The new app has better user interface and is overall better for the user.

It has been made specifically for the console so that helps its’ user friendliness, unlike ported apps and games which have terrible UI. I hope this app is good as I quite like some channel 4 shows (BBC is better though).
My problem though is this seems a bit Xbox-One like with it turning into a tv instead of a gaming console. I myself won’t use it but others might if they have a good internet connection in the room with the big telly.
“4oD is also currently available online at Channel4.com as well as on Sky, Samsung Smart TV, YouView, Virgin Media, BT Vision, YouTube, iOS mobiles and tablets, Android tablets, PS3 and XBox. It is also coming soon to Freesat’s Freetime.”
Thanks for reading.
