Activision Publishing, Inc, which is a subsidiary owned completely by Activision Blizzard, Inc in associaion with Rovio Entertainment has just revealed the latest details on the forthcoming retail launches of the Angry Birds Trilogy for Nintendo Wii and Wii U consoles. These should be available to purchase this summer. These latest additions to the popular series will introduce the strategy and feathered fury of one of the most recognised and iconic franchises in gaming to Nintendo’s audience of home console users for the first time ever.imagesCA678KQQ

Here are some of the features for the Wii U:

-You have the choice to play the game on the TV screen or on the GamePad only, including Wii U/TV swap capability.

-Launch your angry bird with precision and accuracy with the help of the Wii U touch screen controls.

-Challenge the world’s highscores with online leaderboards.

Wii and Wii U Bonus Content:

-More than 40 hours of gaming pleasure have been added, as well as 165 popular and classic on-disc levels themed according to holiday and season.

The Wii and Wii U editions of Angry Birds Trilogy will include 100% of the fantastic content from the Angry Birds Trilogy original version. (First released in 2012 and selling over 1.7 million units worldwide) Also included are 19 exclusive episodes for the console game and a total of more than 100 hours of awesome gameplay – encompassing all of Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio.

 Angry Birds Trilogy  received a PEGI 3 rating. It is scheduled to be available from August 16th, 2013 for Nintendo’s Wii and Wii U systems. (Currently, the game is available for the hand-held Nintendo 3DS system, the Xbox 360 entertainment and video game system from Microsoft with compatability for Kinect for Xbox 360 as well as the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system with complete PlayStation Move Support)
