Conflict Of Heroes Storms Of Steel, A New Standalone Expansion, Moves to Kursk
The Award winning series “Conflict of Heroes” has officially moved to Kursk in its latest expansion, Conflict of Heroes: Storms of Steel. The game will not require that you own Conflict of heroes or any of its expansions but should you own the expansion “Conflict of Heroes: Awaken the Bear”, you can use the serial number to get a $10 discount on Storm Of Steel.
Based directly on the original board game, Storms of Steel is based on operation citadel in which the German forces attempted to gain control of Kursk in an attempt to have a strategical advantage over Russia in 1943. As you can imagine, the Russians took exception to this invasion and the resulting counter assault resulted in one of the biggest tank battles in all of history with 900 Russian tanks completely crushing the German’s 600 tank unit which heavily destabilized the German military advantage which is considered to be a main factor in the winning of the war by allied forces.
Conflict of Heroes: Storms of Steel places you in the thick of the immense battle that took place in Kurst. It builds on the Conflict of Heroes formula by adding new terrain, 15 new firefights and a whopping 50 new units ranging from AT guns to Grenadier squads. Check out the game here.
