Crytek GmBH announced its eastern expansion of Crytek Shanghai Software Co. Ltd. The new addition to their growing studio has strengthened their ties with the Asian market, which is more than a welcomed perk for the international studio.
Crytek Shanghai Software Co. Ltd will be responsible for issues pertaining to the company’s CryENGINE® technology. The location provides several advantages for the company including being able to help with existing licensees more efficiently and effectively, build new and sturdy relationships with potentially new partners, and focus on special technical features that are specific to the users in the Asian market. The new addition to Crytek will also play an active role in regional operations for the company’s free-to-play shooter Warface, giving the company the opportunity to work more closely with its Chinese publishing partner Trecent
