Dark Horse Adds Another Entry to Its Stellar Roster
The Witcher is a dark, gritty RPG series that follows the adventures of Geralt of Rivia, a witcher. The series originally started out as a series of books and has since been transformed into a successful set of video game titles. Now, The Witcher has set its sights on the world of comic book franchises. The new series is going to be written by Paul Torbin, have art drawn by Joe Querio, and covers designed by Dave Johnson. The comic book will follow a new adventure in the life Geralt as he battles a murderous woman in a mansion known as the House of Glass. With danger lurking behind every corner, Geralt will have to use all of his abilities to simply survive, let alone solve the mystery of the mansion. Adam Badowski, the head of studio at CD Project RED, expressed great interest in the partnership. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will launch in 2014 for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. The previous entries in the series have amassed over 250 awards and sold over 5 million copies.
