Battle Against Evil In The New DC Universe™ Online Sons of Trigon/Wonder Woman DLC.
Sony Online Entertainment has announced a new DLC for DC Universe™ Online; this time you will be able to join forces with Wonder Woman or her antagonist Circe in DC Universe™ Online: Sons of Trigon.
The upcoming DLC will have you battling in both multiplayer and solo adventures as you make your way into the dark maw of Gotham City to steal Trigon’s power for your own use and restore peace in the process.
In terms of gameplay and characters DCUO’s Eighth DLC will introduce a new power, Celestial, which will give you access to Blessed and Cursed abilities designed as healing mechanics. It will also include two PVP characters: Donna Troy and Cheetah.
Sons of Trigon will feature:
- New Celestial Power, focused on Healing abilities
- New shared area – Gotham City reduced to a wasteland – featuring daily solo missions
- New alert -featuring a final battle with Trigon
- Three new duos battling Trigon’s sons who represent six of the seven deadly sins
- New Legends PvP characters Cheetah and Donna Troy
- New Gear, including PvE iconic gear based on Brother Blood and Raven
- New Feats and Collections
According to DC universe Online Creative Director Jens Andersen Sons of Trigon will answer some “critical” questions that were left up in the air since the release of DC Universe™ Online two years ago.
“[In sons of Trigon] Players get to explore a nightmare version of Gotham like nothing they have seen before, while battling alongside Wonder Woman or Circe to eventually defeat Trigon and restore peace, or steal Trigon’s power for their own use.”
Sons of Trigon picks up right after the events of Sin of the Father; Trigon escapes his dimension but somehow ends up being trapped in a nightmare version of Gotham city, a sin-filled wasteland that the player will have to explore to confront Trigon’s sons.
DCUO’s Sons of Trigon DLC (aka Wonder Woman DLC) will be available for free for legendary members and will be released later this fall on PlayStation®Network and the DC Universe Online website.
