Nordic Games has announced that Deadfall Adventures, from developer The Farm 51, will be released on September 27 for the Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
Initially slated for release on July 30, the game was pushed back to supposedly offer the “greatest value for players.”
“Holding back the game’s release until September is the right decision for us to ensure that the content included offers the greatest value for players, which it certainly will.” – Nordic Games’ Reinhard Pollice.
Players will take control of the adventurer Quatermain who, working with Agent Goodwin, will attempt to obtain the Heart of Atlantis before the Nazis and Russians in a fast-paced action-adventure. The first-person shooter will feature a single-player campaign, a survival co-operation mode, and multiplayer battle arenas. It also will feature puzzle solving exploration, deadly traps and stunning set pieces. The game’s gritty and fast-paced action can be compared to Serious Sam and, more closely, to Painkiller.
“This is our most ambitious game to date and we’re working very closely alongside The Farm 51 to make sure that Deadfall Adventures provides players with seamless action and puzzle-solving experience,” said Pollice.
The game is developed on the timeless and trustworthy Unreal Engine 3, which will be put to the test as the game roams from the stormy deserts of Egypt to the icy depths of the Arctic and the steaming jungles of Guatemala.
The game will be available on major digital download services including Steam.
