Deal signed by bluBee Games for shooter Iron Soul

London, UK, 16th September 2013: Publisher Base Games and game developer BluBee Games are pleased to announce they’ve signed a worldwide retail publishing deal for their action packed 3rd person shooter Iron Soul.

Influenced by classic 3rd person shooters such as MDK, Iron Soul combines the mechanics of platformers and shooters to present the ultimate battle between man and machine.  The odds are firmly stacked against the human race and because of this they’re forced to trust one of the machines for aid against the swarm of mechanical foes.  Ted Bishop, the CEO at Base Games commented:

“Iron Soul is a visually stunning project which has had a lot of interest being BluBee’s first fully fledged developed product and we are delighted to be working with them bringing this product to retail stores globally.”

About Iron Soul

Brief and cyber-fast summary:
– Iron Soul is a single player hybrid of a 3rd person shooter and a platformer, but is Robot-powered & Story driven.  It is fully voiced, with a touch of Old-school Action.  The game achieves the unreal by using the Unreal!

Robo-tastic but slightly longer summary:

– Iron Soul is the unpredictable blend of 3rd person shooter and fast platformer in a story-driven, 3D action game. To make it possible, the team was inspired by old school 3rd person games we all know and love such as MDK.  Such elements are strengthened within an industrial setting full of mad robots, unknown voices and mysterious compounds. It has been a long, two year journey for both the project and its hero H-25 but the destination has finally been reached. Now he must stand united with the humans to withstand the force of bot-mageddon.

Features list for list fans:

* Mechanical Tales: 2 story-focused campaigns, though it’s more like 1.5, that tell the account of a robotic invasion as well as the bizarre interferences the hero and his mentor suffer from during their travels.

* Machine Perfect Controls: Tight action and movement controls for intense robot battles and smooth air jumps. The bot-mageddon is full of shooting, platforming and mildly difficult puzzle-solving challenges.

* Cunning Enemies: Individually designed enemies that can come from sky, earth or even beneath the ground in the most robo-tacular fashion, forcing you to make intelligent choices when it comes to choosing your weapons and strategies.

* Combat Robo-tactic: A free and non-sticky cover system for Methodical players to use while trigger happy bot-slayers can go all out and blast their way through hostile territory.

* Fallen World: A range of environments from wilderness valleys to subterranean military bases have come alive due to the power of UDK.  Levels are fully optimized and hold tons of challenges and secrets awaiting discovery.

* Crazy Voices: All characters are fully voiced except for the protagonist… After all, he is, allegedly, meant to be a silent hero.
