Deoxys event is Coming Soon to Pokémon Black and White 2

Despite the recent release of Meloetta players of Pokémon Black and White 2 should mark May 8^th on their calendar because The Pokémon Company International have announced that that day will see the release of the fan favourite Deoxy via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Service.

For any players who don’t know who Deoxys is or why his so popular, Deoxys started off as a space virus that when entered into the earth’s atmosphere on a meteorite passed through a laser beam and turned into the first Deoxys. It’s also the star of the seventh Pokémon movie.

Of course Deoxys will also come with its four forms Normal, Power, Speed and Defence. You’ll be able to change Deoxys between all four forms whenever you want by going to Nacrene City.  Now’s also a good time to mention that Deoxys Power and Speed forms have the highest attack and speed stats in the Pokémon games.

This will be the only way to get Deoxys in Pokémon Black and White 2 but on the plus side at least it will be on level 100 although this does mean that it will be a pain to EV train it if that’s your sort of thing. It will also have special moves that will be revealed as we get closer to May 8^th.

In other Deoxys news it’s also going to appear in the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Deoxys will be the main Pokémon in the Plasma Freeze expansion which is also set to be released May 8^th. The Plasma Freeze expansion will have 110 new cards. The Deoxys card will have 170 HP, will be able to power up Team Plasma’s Pokémon and has a unique attack called Helix Force which turns your opponent’s energy against them.

So that’s the latest Pokémon news and if you’re an online Pokémon battle than come May 8^th I’d suggest you get your hands on Deoxys because nearly everybody else will and on a side note my guess is that Helix Force will be a move given to Deoxys in the game.
