“Die Noobs” an eSports Documentary

Fire One Out Media has announced their professional gaming documentary entitled “Die Noobs”.

Emmy nominated director Erik Cieslewicz will be directing “Die Noobs”. The film is a documentary of two casual gamers and their goal of winning a certain professional gaming tournament. Basically every hardcore gamers dream right? The documentary looks inside one of the worlds quickest growing professional sport, featuring exclusive looks of top pro gamers around the world. Their attempt is to teach the noobs to become the very best that no one ever was.

Having received an Edward R. Murrow Award for investigative journalism, as well as becoming the most “respected up-and-coming filmmakers in Washington D.C., Erik Cieslewicz goes inside the hilarious journey of a relatively unknown world of nerds, elitists, and geeks.

He claims that “If Rocky and The Office and Reddit made love, it would be this film: accessible, funny and a little geeky.”

The documentary follows casual gamers Babyjinx and Anubis, which I am assuming those are their gamertags, as they go on a real world quest to win the professional gaming tournament. From solving puzzle, using expert strategies, and recovering from hangovers, the two gamers will go the distance in “Die Noobs”. Fans of other video game films including “King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters” and “Chasing Ghosts: Beyond the Arcade”, are sure to enjoy “Die Noobs.”

The documentary also has a a soundtrack composed by Youtube star Pin Panelle among other artist that will “rip your head off.” According to Cieslewicz.

“Die Noobs” will have the audience “laughing hysterically and motivated to win multiple championships.”

The world of eSports has risen quickly over the years and has caught a huge crowd of Youtube commentators and viewers. The largest and most popular title for professional gaming is Starcraft 2.

Look for “Die Noobs” to be released in December of 2013 and for more information on the documentary please visit  http://dienoobs.fireoneout.com
