One of the greatest new IP’s of 2012, Dragon’s Dogma, is getting more content. Coming to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on April 23rd is an expansion for Dragon’s Dogma coming soon is entitled Dark Arisen.
Existing Dragon Dogma players will be able to use their existing save file to travel to the island of Bitterblack Isle, and chase down new quests and loot. In the path of loot players will now be able find and build new weapons and new armor, will being gifted 100,000 Rift Crystals, unlimited Ferrystones as well as a new set of armor. In addition to these loot and region addition players will now be able to level up skills into a third tier to create even more devastating attacks.
Don’t worry if you missed Dragon’s Dogma, because with Dark Arisen you can start from the beginning and complete the entire game before you play the Dark Arisen region or quests.
Also coming in Dark Arisen is increased personalization options, Japanese voice over options, and final an appraisal system for inventoried items.
Luckily it is not too late to jump into Dragon’s Dogma, in fact there may have never been a better time to jump in. On April 23rd you will be able to purchase the Dark Arisen expansion for $39.99, or Dragon’s Dogma and Dark Arisen together for around $90.
