Square Enix has announced the Drakengard 3 Novella and the tier 2 pre-order items.

Ahead of the launch of Drakengard 3 Square Enix showed off the first chapter in the novella, “Zero” a story that details the events before the game and explores the past of Zero. This chapter can be read by fans of the game at http://drakengardgame.com. and also watch the developer commentary about the creative process Takamasa went through after exiting his eight year hiatus.
Also announced was the tier 2 pre-orders. Fans of the game who pre-order the game starting from April 8th, will receive the NIER costume pack with the Kainé and Replicant costumes, the Emil hat, and the tier 3 pre-order items that will be revealed at a later date.
Players can pre-order the game today via the Square Enix Online Store for $49.99, as well as for digital download on the PlayStation®Network.
