Elite Video Games International Awards 2014: The Winners

The first ever Elite Video Games International Awards took place on Thursday evening in Madrid.

The international awards ceremony gives credit to the best games launched throughout the past year and is a key annual event for the video games sector, as well as a key point of reference for everyone involved.

The ceremony was hosted by journalist Javier Villacañas and was attended by all of the companies that make up the industry including Sony, Koch Media, Take Two, Electronic Arts, Activision, Nintendo, Blizzard, FX, Wargaming, Microsoft and Turtle Beach. They were competing for awards within a range of categories including Best Action Video Game, Best Production Company and Best Sports Game. The EVIA 2014 Honorary Award went to The Employers Association for the video games sector (ADESE) for its contribution to the development of the video games industry.

BEST FREE TO PLAY GAME – “World of Warplanes” from Wargaming
BEST SPANISH EDITION – “Caos en Deponia” from FX Interactive
BEST DUBBING – “FIFA 14” from EA Sports
BEST SPANISH GAME – “InviZimals” from SCEE
BEST MULTI-PLATFORM – “LEGO Marvel Super Heroes” from Warner BROS.
