Yesterday Kill3rCombo, the publisher of Elsword, a new exciting game mode for their free-to-play action MMORPG. The new mode called Tag Mode works pretty much as it sounds and adds some more variety to Elsword’s rich PvP.
PvP Tag Mode works pretty much as you would expect it to. Players are split into two teams where they have to fight in a central arena. Teams consist of up to 4 vs. 4. The twist, however, is that teammates wait on the side lines to be tagged into the fight. At any given time in the fight, players can tag out by entering a portal on the field of battle.
As with many other games classes have different strengths and weaknesses. In Elsword there are six unique playable characters and multiple classes for each. In order to triumph in Tag Mode players will need to learn the counters and be able to master each of the classes. Players will then need to carefully pick their team composition to win.
Another twist in the mix is that when a player is downed the opposing player receives a 20% health bonus. The Dev Journal released on January 28th said this, “Players who defeat an opponent will get a 20% HP bonus. Don’t squander this on a maxed out replacement. Time your tags to get the most from this boon. Got a top-player who needs the HP? Tag that person in when the enemy is on the ropes. Just hope your opponent doesn’t see this coming!”
For those new to Elsword¸ Elsword gives players the opportunity to explore the immersive world and battle rivals to complete dynamic quests. Players will be able to evolve their fighting styles, learn lethal new abilities, master combos, and upgrading to new job classes as they progress through the game. Elsword offers casual and hardcore players something to do with easy and intuitive controls.
