Logic Artists announce the release of Clandestine for the PC
The Danish independent studio have announced that the globetrotting spy thriller set in the mid 90s is due to be released for the PC in 2014. CLandestine offers players asymmetrical cooperative mechanics and a deep dark story driven spy fantasy that is due to be released on PC in 2014.
Ali Emek, one of the producers from Logic Artists says “After our success with our debut release Expeditions: Conquistador, we wanted to create a new kind of play experience based on our love for tactical stealth games. With the addition of asymmetrical co-op gameplay between the field agent and hacker, Clandestine gives a unique spin to this genre. Set during the ‘90s, we have worked hard to recreate the feel and atmosphere of the decade in the game, and we are excited to see how players react to this iconic time in technological development”.
Set in 1996, five years after the dissolution of the soviet union, several murders have been missed by the public, but the would of espionage has been put on high alert. Cold war operatives that believe their cover is still intact, are being assassinated across the world. Spies from the Soviet and NATO are being targeted, causing havoc and suspicion from every angle.
Clandestine transports players to locations across the entire planet, from underground tunnels in Vienna to secret NSA bunkers in Washington. Using asymmetrical cooperative gameplay, they must use cunning skills and tactics to infiltrate corporate headquarters and safe houses to determine who is commiting the string of murders and crack the conspiracy from within the different organisations.
