Eurogamer Expo Valve Developer Session

Eurogamer Expo Valve Developer Session

Eurogamer Expo announced that Chet Faliszek, a writer for Valve, will be doing a session on game development. The session will be hosted for two days, and will be entitled, “How to give yourself a job in the game industry?” That is a really good question. Hopefully this session will point people in the right direction. It is planned to give advice on how to break into the industry to people with a variety of backgrounds and educations. "It's always a pleasure to have Valve at the Eurogamer Expo, so we're delighted Chet's joining us again this year," said Eurogamer's Tom Bramwell. "Valve is doing fascinating things and I wouldn't miss this session for the world." Sounds like an amazing learning experience. I’m sure the room will be filled to the brim with people, so bring along binoculars and perhaps a large friend so you can push your way through the crowd.

If thoughtful discussion about the state of the industry with a master of the medium isn’t your thing, then head on over to look at fast, shiny cars. F1 Race Stars and F1 2012™ from Codemasters will both be playable at this year's event. They’re also bringing along a real Formula One car for attendants to check out. "Eurogamer probably boasts the highest concentration of FORMULA ONE fanboys at any gaming website, so to say we're excited about having all this amazing F1 stuff on the show floor is a massive understatement," said Eurogamer's Tom Bramwell. Looks like everyone will be covered at this year’s Eurogamer Expo.

Eurogamer Expo will take place in London’s Earls Court from September 27 to September 30. About 50,000 people are expected to be there, so good luck finding a place to park. Tickets are available at www.eurogamerexpo.com.
