Popular horror title gets a new look and a launch date
Aeria games, a popular developer for free-to-play online games announced the launch for the beta of the new installment in the F.E.A.R series with F.E.A.R. Online.When developing the game the developers took information from the alpha to create a new horrifying experience. Included in the beta is a extensive redesign and adjustments made to the gameplay with brand new maps, scenarios, and crafting system for players to enjoy.
The F.E.A.R. task force has been ordered to investigate the Armacham Technology Corporation and their horrific experiments.
The game will focus on different team combat modes over ten maps that are filled with the Macabre, such as twitching bodies that are hung from the ceiling on meat hooks and messages in blood.
The story of the online game is set concurrently with F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, where four players team up to fight the forces of evil from grotesque creatures to ATC soldiers.
The beta begins on May 26th and beta keys will be released soon. Players can sign up for the beta at fearonline.aeriagames.com and keep up to date with news from the official Facebook page.
