Focus Home interactive has released a batch of new screenshots from Farming Simulator 2013. In Farming Simulator 2013 players will take on the role of a modern day farmer. In the game players will be able to build and manage their very own farm.
The previous 2011 edition, Farming Simulator, became a surprise hit when it sold over 500,000 copies in France and Germany. Focus Home Interactive are taking advantage of the games popularity as Farming Simulator 2013 will also be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The game is said to be bigger than its predecessors and promises to deliver many new features. Farming Simulator 2013 will keep all the ingredients found within previous games in the series but will add a number of new features.
Farming Simulator 2013 will have an online mode and online services. This will make it possible for players to manage a farm with up to 10 players in multiplayer. Gamers can also create, download and share mods, vehicles, and equipment in the game. Budding farmers can also use and share their own custom made tools. Players will be able to create the tools through the customization options directly integrated into the game.
In Farming Simulator 2013 there will be a host of new animals, crops, environments, machines and vehicles. In the game players will be able to build and expand their very own farm in a huge, totally new world. In the game, players can own crops and sell their wares to expand in order to buy materials for their farm. Gamers will also be able to raise a range of animals and expand their farming empire.
As the game progresses budding farmers will be able to control more than a hundred farming vehicles and machines. The upcoming game will feature equipment from the top 20 vehicle manufacturers. Some of the vehicles which have been recreated include: Case IH, Deutz-Fahr, Lamborghini, Same, Horsch and newcomer Grimme.
Farming Simulator 2013 will be released on PC in October.
The game will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 early next year.
