You could say they kept the worst for last
Today sees the release of the Good Friends DLC character pack for Gaijin Games Runner 2 which adds more characters for you to play through Runner 2 as and we also got trailers for the last three Good Friends DLC characters.
In case you’re not fully aware yet besides the new characters, Good Friends adds Qoute from Cave Story, Dr. Fetus from Super Meat Boy as well as Josef from Machinarium and Raz from the underselling title Psychonauts.
The final three characters coming to the Good Friends pack are Spelunky Guy from well Spelunky, Atlus from Portal 2 who also happens to be a Steam exclusive character despite the fact that Portal 2 is also available on Xbox 360 and the PS3 and finally the least interesting character of them all Invisible CommanderVideo who by the way isn’t fully invisible.
All three characters have their own trailer (all viewable here) to sort of explain how they ended up in Runner 2 or in CommanderVideos case how he ended up partly invisible.
Out of all the characters Gaijin Games are adding to Runners 2 I can see why they didn’t reveal the last three Good Friends DLC characters till now since Atlus is an exclusive character for Steam and Invisible CommanderVideo while amusing is basically just a reskin of CommanderVideo.
The Good Friends DLC character pack is now out on Steam and will later be available on PS3, Xbox 360 as well as the Wii U. The pack will cost $3 and for that you’re getting seven or eight if you’re on Steam new characters to repeatedly run, leap, hit a wall and start all over all with.
