Game Of Thrones DLC Goes Beyond The Wall

Focus Home Entertainment have announced that  Game of Thrones, the role playing game for PC, PS3 and Xbox is set to receive new DLC. Cyanide, the games developers have created a new downloadable quest for Game of Thrones. “Beyond the Wall,” is now available worldwide for the PC and on the Xbox 360 throughout Europe. Beyond the Wall is a prequel to the games main campaign.

As the downloadable content suggests “Beyond” takes gamers into the frozen northern lands. Mors Westford and his Night’s Watch team will face Wildlings and a number of other dangers. The downloadable content ‘Beyond the Wall’ should add roughly two to three additional hours of gameplay. Players will also learn why Westford swore his life and sword to the Night’s Watch.  The DLC will also explain why he is nicknamed The Butcher and how he received his scars.

‘Beyond the Wall’ brings players to the heart of Wildings’ territory, the merciless outcast warriors who are also the sworn enemies of the Night’s Watch.  Mors Westford and his companions will discover that a simple patrol on the Wall will become a frozen Hell.

Game of Thrones is a role playing game for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. In the game players can take place in the events of the first book of the Song of Ice and Fire series. Game of Thrones main campaign is a story which runs parallel to the events of the first book and series. Gamers are put in the shoes ofWestford or Alester Sarywck, a priest of R’hllor. In the game, players will Plaers will rub elbows with prominent characters from the series, including Lord Command Jeor Mormont and Lord Varys.

The game allows players to follow two different quests: Mors and Alester’s quests.  Their totally original story was canonized by George R.R. Martin personally. The game also uses and integrates the original story for the fans who are familiar with the series.

Beyond the Wall, a new downloadable content add on for Game of Thrones, is now available for the PC worldwide and on Xbox LIVE in Europe. The DLC costs 400 MS Points, or $5/€4.99/£3.99.

Focus Home Entertainment have not yet mentioned when the North American Xbox 360 launch will occur.
