British retailer, GAME goes the extra mile for FIFA 14’s release; offers exclusive FIFA 14 content and 300 scheduled midnight openings.
GAME has announced its biggest EA lock-in series to date: Fifty stores will be doing into extra time to give gamers exclusive early access to FIFA 14, including hands on experience weeks ahead of the game’s official release on Friday 27th September. The exclusive lock-ins will be hosted in partnership with EA SPORTS™ between September 8-22nd.
The lock-ins gives gamers the chance to get to grips with the latest innovations to the award-winning game play and experience the “thrills of scoring great goals.” The new pure shot feature and a brand-new ball physics system will transform shooting so every shot feels much more satisfying and exhilarating, making FIFA 14 more authentic than ever before.
GAME will also be opening up 300 of its stores at midnight on 27th September to allow gamers to take home the most anticipated football franchise of the year as soon as possible.
Gamers who pre-order FIFA 14 on Xbox 360® or PlayStation ®3 will receive three Exclusive bonus packs – the Adidas, Historic Kit and Pro Boosters Bundles, plus Four FIFA Ultimate Team Packs.*
Adidas Bundle includes: Adidas All-Star Team, featuring Leo Messi and Gareth Bale, plus two pairs of boots and two balls,
Historic Kit Bundle includes: A wide selection of historic club kits to unlock, from some of the top clubs across the globe,
Pro Boosters Bundle includes: Five pro boosts to turn your online pro into a star – upgrade passing, shooting, ball skills and more!
Gamers can register for the lock-ins at their nearest participating store, either in person or by phone, or by sending their local store a Tweet. Spaces are limited and customers will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis. Gamers must be 16 or over to register and ID will be required for entry. The EA SPORTS team will also provide half-time refreshments and goody bags to all participants.
