Rockstar announces their Grand Theft Auto Online spring updates
The much beleaguered Grand Theft Auto Online may finally be reaching its potential. It has been seven months since Grand Theft Auto V launched, it launched an online portion that was unstable and a shell of what was promised. It’s been a big empty world with no heist missions. That will finally be changing this Spring.
Grand Theft Auto Online Spring Updates:
Heists: The long awaited Heists feature is finally coming this Spring. Players will have the ability to play missions with other players – like players from their own respective crews – friends, etc. And pull cooperative Heists missions. There will be more information about Heists in the coming months.
The High Life Update: The High Life Update isn’t exactly as exciting as it may seem. With this new update players will be able to own multiple properties. Plus, you’ll be able to get some new clothes, a new rifle, a Dinka Thrust motorcycle, and three new cars.
The best part about this update is probably the Mental State player statistic. Now, you can see whether or not some players are just minding their own business not bothering you, or if players tend to be more reckless in their approach. Also, there are new jobs to play as well.
Capture Creator: This coming week players will be able to make their own original Capture Jobs. To date, 3.5 million players have created Deathmatches and Races.
There are a few other minor tweaks coming as well such as players having the ability to call Lester to tell the cops to turn a blind eye to some of the crimes you may be in the middle of doing. GTA$ and RP will be getting tweaked again. Players will get an RP bonus for leaving content.
Players who complete jobs with less than four players in Parachute, Races, Deathmatches and LTS Jobs will get an increased payout.
So, what do you think of the changes? Will you be getting online? Are you still playing Grand Theft Auto V/Online? Let us know in the comments below.
