GTA Online patches released for PS3, Xbox 360
Technical difficulties seem to be at the heart of all the problems surrounding major online offerings of particularly big games. While gamers have had issues trying to get into Battlefield 4’s beta – joining a game will yield a black screen with a loading marker and nothing else – GTA Online has had some similar infamous problems. And last week, Rockstar game issued a statement about the latest patch update for the PS3 version of GTA Online. Xbox 360 owners just recently received a patch update as well.

The technical issues that have been reported, and Rockstar has responded with several changes and updates including the following:

-PlayStation Network server issue that was only allowing a limited number of players in the servers

-An issue preventing some players from getting through the first tutorial mission across both platforms

-Purchasable GTA cash packs are now disabled

Players having technical problems are encouraged to report them to the dedicated support team at support.rockstargames.com and at twitter.com/rockstarsupport.

GTA Online was released two weeks after the release of the game. It is Rockstar’s biggest and most ambitious game, and players have reported logging several hundred hours into the game.

There has been no word on a PC version of the game.
