Exato Game Studios, an indie developer in partnership with Reverb Publishing announced that Guncraft, will launch on August 9th, 2013, on Steam worldwide. Guncraft, is a voxel-based shooter challenges gamers to build the ultimate weapons, bases, and characters to fight your enemies on nine different game modes. These modes include, Team Deathmatch, Lava Survival, and Meteor Survival. Players are excited for Guncraft’s release as evidenced by the community’s vote through Steam Greenlight this month.
Guncraft will have the following features in the Steam launch:
- Racing Mode: Race alone or with a friend, co-op double dash style, to see who can be number one, including community created tracks and levels

- “Lava Survival” mode where magma slowly rises as players build upward to avoid the instant orange death. It’s a new variation of “Last Man Standing”
- “Onslaught” mode, where four players band together to fight off endless waves of deadly robot spiders, soldiers, drones, and aircraft
- “Spleef” mode, players drill and destroy blocks on the platform near or under their opponents in order to cause them to fall to their deaths, while fervently moving to also avoid suffering that fate
- Player-controlled vehicles, perks, killstreaks, class load-outs, clan system, and ranks
- HUGE DLC Roadmap driven by the community, for the community, ranging from new modes to expansions to Gunsmithing and new content features
By combining sandbox building game play and the speed of first-person shooters, Guncraft will feature a new taste for fans of the shooter genre. Gamers can expect to build new types of arenas and levels based on their creative ideas, and then play them with their friends.
