What makes Harvest Moon: A new Beginning a little different from the other 24 entries in this long-lived series is that A New Beginning is the first game in the series made only for the 3DS.
This game is also the most feature packed game in the series with the ability to create your own character as well as allowing players to customise their house, furniture as well as the appearance of the town that the game takes place in which is a first for the series.
