“On the brink of ruin, the Hidebark people are about to be wiped out by the slaving organization, Caesar’s Legion. However, their most ruthless warrior would prefer death to dishonor. “FALLOUT: LANIUS” will recount how a single man brings ruin to his people due to his lust for bloodshed and victory.”
The non-for-profit fan film FALLOUT: LANIUS is being produced by a group of talented and experienced Australian filmmakers. The film will focus on the origin story of “Fallout: New Vegas’” main antagonist Legate Lanius and his rise to power.
Having successfully raised their initial budget of $10,000 the FALLOUT LANIUS team now wishes to succeed in raising their stretch goals. Here’s where you can help. “We couldn’t be more appreciative of the people that have supported us” Director Wade K. Savage commented “Now, I want to see if we can make our stretch goals and really make something amazing for the Fans”.
In addition, those who donate will also get special tiered rewards based on the amount they contribute. Some rewards include set props, posers, and DVDs.
The team has released new Key Art designed by Graphic Designer Jeffrey Phillips. The three images reveal the first look at the incredible Legate Lanius Armour, as well as an assortment of other characters.
*Writer’s Opinion*
Overall this seems like a well thought out, fun project. Though I am wondering how the team got around Bethesda’s/ZeniMax Media’s lawsuit policy. Considering they sued Mojang for using the word “Scrolls”, I am just curious if they had to get permission from the company. Does the fact that its non-for-profit negate any lawsuit potential? Not sure. However, the trailer looks good. Its obvious this is not going to be any ordinary fan film. Good luck FALLOUT LANIUS team!
