Developer Instant Kingdom today released their Adventure Role Playing Game Driftmoon for PC.
Driftmoon is self described as a quirky RPG which has been developed for a massive seven years by a husband and wife team, one of whom has been developing games since 1998. In celebration of this launch, Instant Kingdom have released a trailer demonstrating some of Driftmoon’s top down RPG
Players must team up with a rag tag bundle of allies ranging from a hyperactive firefly to a panther with an immense ego to a walking skeleton as they embark on an epic quest to defeat the evil king Ixal and his powerful armies. Along the way, players will have to solve puzzles and battle fearsome foes as well as experiencing the whimsical humour of the developers.
In addition to the content detailed in the trailer, Driftmoon promises distinct and charismatic creatures that will have their character’s developed as the game progresses. The decisions of the player will also impact other characters in the game, which can lead to a range of outcomes when meeting foes and traveling through the environment of the game.
Instant Kingdom have also placed a great deal of emphasis on player satisfaction, with a single key press allowing gamers to send comments to the developers. Both husband and wife are eager to receive feedback from players and are also happy to answer any questions. The developers have also made sure that it is easy for players to create their own content, with a powerful inbuilt editor and easy installation of mods.
Driftmoon is currently available for $12 at a range of digital distributors including Gamer’s Gate, GoG and Greenmangaming and can also be purchased from the game’s official site. In addition, demo can be found on the site for those of you wanting to try out the game.
