Bitsmith Games, Ku: Shroud of the Morrigan is a hand drawn Zelda type action adventure game which takes place during Ireland’s ancient past and economic present collide. During this IPad only adventure, you play as Ku, who for the first time ever must travel the broken and strange world. Ku is challenged with mind numbing puzzle solving, heart pumping monster battles, and the task of retrieve an ancient treasure from the goddess Morrigan.
Ku: Shroud of the Morrigan blends a handdrawn, Celt-Punk, art style indulged into a story line based on ancient Irish legend, with just a hint of economic collapse throughout the story.
Ku: Shroud of the Morrigan will feature full Irish language support, providing authenticity to the game. Since the game was built from the ground-up for full touch controls, so there will be no virtual d-pads in sight!
The game has been called, “Imaginative, charming and persistently attractive” and “a hugely promising debut,” by the Irish Times.
Pocket Gamer said it “mixes fantasy and steampunk in all the right ways”.
