Konami Digital Entertainment today announced three publicity events based in the Americas to support the launch of Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengeance.
Konami has invited fans of the game to come to these events for a chance to meet and receive autographs from two of the producers of the game; Mr Atsushi Inaba from Platinum Games and Mr Yuji Korekado from Kojima Productions.
The first publicity event is in the USA on the 18th of February from 8 to 10 PM (PST time). The launch promotion will be run at a Gamestop at 1000 Universal Studios Boulevard Universal City, California, with both producers present to sign autographs.
In addition, the first 150 fans to show up will be invited to a launch party at the Hard Rock Cafe later in the day. Those selected to go to the party will be treated to a live performance by Metal Gear Rising Revengeance’s composer Jamie Christopherson and an accompanying orchestra.
The second event is based in Mexico at the Museum Britanico Americano, located at 134 Colonio Centro Mexico D.F. The event will occur on February 20, from 6pm to 12AM, with both Mr Inabo and Mr Korekado available for autographs. The Mexico event will also have copies of Metal Gear Rising Revengeance available for demo, giving fans a chance to try out the new Metal Gear game.
The final event will take place in Argentina on February 22, running from 8 PM to 12 AM. The promotion will be hosted at the Sony Style Cabildo, which is located at Cabildo 2070, Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Fans of the game will have the option to take Metal Gear themed photos, which can be printed as post cards. Only one of the producers, Mr Korekado will be available for autographs at this event.
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance will be available for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 from the 19th of February.
